History

In August 2008 a group of Rosebud School of the Arts Alumni under the direction and leadership of Karl Sine formed Loudly Whispered Theatre as way to provide themselves with a creative outlet and opportunity of employment. The first show produce was ‘Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol ‘ by Tom Mula in December 2008 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. After such an overwhelming response LWT decided to continue forward with the company and their efforts to enhance the arts and culture in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The Second show produced was ‘Soldier’s Heart ‘ by David French, which was performed in Calgary and Medicine Hat, Alberta. LWT is currently working towards their not-for-profit status and hope to continue to produce quality theatre in Medicine Hat, Alberta and grow further as company.
